The General Terms and Conditions apply whenever you use or place an order through the website www.verkoi.com (the “Site”). They contain important information for you as a customer of VERKOI. Please read them carefully, along with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. We also recommend saving or printing these General Terms and Conditions for your reference.
AGREEMENT: Any arrangement or agreement between VERKOI and the Client for the purchase of Products, Services, and/or Gift Cards, of which the General Terms and Conditions form an integral part.
CLIENT: The consumer or (legal) person acting in the performance of a profession or business who enters into an Agreement with VERKOI.
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS: These terms and conditions of VERKOI.
GIFT CARD: The electronic gift card(s) offered on the Site.
PRODUCT(S): The product(s) (including candles and related items) offered on the Site.
SERVICE(S): The service(s) offered on the Site.
SITE: The website www.verkoi.com and all of its sub-domains.
The General Terms and Conditions apply to all offers and deliveries from and Agreements with VERKOI, unless otherwise explicitly agreed upon in writing.
If the Client declares other provisions or terms applicable in their order, confirmation, or through any other communication medium, such provisions will only be binding upon VERKOI if explicitly accepted in writing.
All prices displayed on the Site include VAT and any other taxes and levies imposed by the government, unless stated otherwise.
For orders outside of the European Union, additional costs such as customs duties, VAT, or other fees may apply. These costs are not included in the price and will be fully borne by the Client.
Shipping costs, if applicable, will be clearly stated on the Site before the Agreement is concluded and displayed separately in the ordering process.
VERKOI aims to provide accurate information on the Site but cannot guarantee that all information is displayed correctly at all times. We reserve the right to correct any errors and may cancel orders based on obvious pricing errors.
Pricing and availability of Products may change at any time without further notice.
Images of Products on our Site are for illustrative purposes only. VERKOI is not liable for any deviations in color or appearance of the actual Product compared to the Site.
VERKOI may change the Product at any time without further notice, including reflecting changes in relevant laws and regulatory requirements.
The Services are only provided to customers in the European Union, United Kingdom, and United States unless explicitly stated otherwise.
If applicable, services such as virtual consultations may be offered. Availability is not guaranteed.
Changes or cancellations to appointments (if applicable) can typically be made up to 24 hours prior. Late cancellations may result in loss of fees.
VERKOI retains the right to cancel or amend appointments at any time.

VERKOI is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our Products.

Gift Cards can only be purchased online and can only be redeemed on www.verkoi.com. Gift Cards denominated in euro (€) can only be purchased and redeemed on the European website. Gift Cards denominated in US dollars (USD) can only be purchased and redeemed on the US website (us.verkoi.com). The Gift Card can be used to pay for the full value or part of the value of selected Products and/or Services. Gift Cards cannot be redeemed against the purchase of another Gift Card. If a purchase is not fully covered by a Gift Card, an additional payment method as offered on the Site can be used to complete the purchase. Gift Cards are not redeemable for cash. The current balance of a Gift Card can be checked upon checkout or by sending an email to info@verkoi.com.
When purchasing a Gift Card on the Site, the Gift Card will be sent to the recipient’s email address immediately after the purchase is completed. VERKOI will not be liable for failure or delay in delivery. The Client is obligated to provide a correct email address for delivery. If the provided email address cannot be confirmed, VERKOI reserves the right to withhold the delivery of the Gift Card.
The maximum amount that an individual Gift Card can hold is EUR 200,00 or its equivalent in USD. VERKOI will provide the Client with specific denominations to choose from to load onto the Gift Card.
A Gift Card expires automatically once its balance has been exhausted. A Gift Card may not be topped up with additional funds.
A Gift Card is valid for two (2) years after the date of purchase. The expiration date is stated on the Gift Card and is definitive. After the expiration date, the Gift Card cannot be used for purchases, reactivated, and the remaining value cannot be reimbursed. VERKOI has no obligation to remind or inform the Client of a Gift Card’s expiry, and it is the Client’s sole responsibility to ensure that any balance is used in full prior to expiry.
The Client must retain an expired Gift Card if they wish to return a purchase. Any Products or Services paid for using a Gift Card that are subsequently returned for a refund will be credited to the existing or a new Gift Card. If the total to be refunded exceeds the amount paid using a Gift Card, the remaining balance will be refunded to the other payment method used by the Client (e.g., credit/debit card or other payment methods, such as PayPal).
VERKOI cannot be held liable for Gift Cards that are lost, stolen, or inactivated. We advise treating the Gift Card as cash.
Gift Cards remain the property of VERKOI, which maintains the right to cancel the card in its sole discretion in situations where it is deemed necessary (such as to comply with applicable laws or due to circumstances beyond its control).
By participating in a contest or giveaway from VERKOI, the participant irrevocably grants VERKOI a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, assignable, fully paid, royalty-free license to repost, publish, reproduce, distribute, display, perform, create derivative works from, or otherwise use the participant’s submission across all media channels and platforms. VERKOI shall have the perpetual, worldwide right to publish and use the submissions in any way and for any media for trade, advertising, promotional, and/or other purposes without further consideration to the participant.
Instagram and TikTok contests or giveaways by VERKOI are not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram or TikTok.
Prizes are non-extendable, non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash in whole or in part or for any cash alternatives.
By participating in a contest or giveaway by VERKOI, a participant represents that they meet the eligibility requirements set out in the General Terms and Conditions and agree to be bound by these General Terms and Conditions, any specific conditions of the contest or giveaway, the Instagram and TikTok Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, all applicable laws and regulations, and the decisions or instructions of VERKOI or its authorized representatives, which shall be final.
Contests and giveaways are, unless stated otherwise in the specific contest or giveaway conditions, open to legal residents of the European Union, United Kingdom, Norway, and Switzerland, excluding any territories that VERKOI does not ship to, and unless prohibited by law, who: (i) are of legal age in their location of residence prior to the beginning of the contest or giveaway, (ii) have not been a winner in any prior contests, giveaways, or promotions of VERKOI; and (iii) have internet access and a valid Instagram and/or TikTok account. Employees, officers, directors of VERKOI and members of their immediate families, as well as our retailers and suppliers, are ineligible. Participants are limited to one (1) submission.
The winning participant of a contest or giveaway shall have 24 hours to claim their prize from the date they are announced as the winner. After this time, VERKOI reserves the right to select a new winner. The winner will need to provide VERKOI with all information required in VERKOI’s sole discretion to claim the prize. If the provided information cannot be confirmed, VERKOI reserves the right to withhold the delivery of the prize. If required by VERKOI, the winner must sign and return to VERKOI a publicity release form by a reasonable date determined by VERKOI in form and substance satisfactory to VERKOI to be eligible to receive the prize.

#### Conditions for Earning Points (7.10)
– Participants must be logged into their Collectors Club Account to earn points for all actions except creating the account.

### Account Management and Expiry (7.13 – 7.15)
– Only the participant making eligible purchases can accumulate points.
– NM Beauty Industries B.V. can monitor accounts and may refuse or close duplicate accounts.
– Points expire after 12 months of inactivity; birthday points are excluded.
– Collectors Club Accounts can be canceled after 24 months of inactivity.
### Points Value and Restrictions (7.16 – 7.20)
– Points have no cash value and cannot be transferred or refunded.
– All products/services from the loyalty program are for personal use only and cannot be resold.
– Participants can cancel their accounts via email, resulting in the loss of all points and status.
– For concerns about points or purchases, participants must contact the company within 30 days.
The agreement is concluded when the client clicks the “BUY” button.
Confirmation is provided electronically after acceptance.
If incorrect data is provided, obligations may be suspended until corrected.
– Dominika Sokalska VERKOI reserves the right to reject orders and restrict sales to unauthorized resellers.
The company can block access, cancel orders, and disable accounts if fraudulent activity is suspected.
Orders are handed over to a shipping company after acceptance.
– Clients will be informed if products cannot be delivered within 30 days and can choose to agree to a new date or cancel the order.
– Clients should inspect products upon receipt and report any defects within two working days.

Delivery Responsibility: Upon receipt of an order, Dominika Sokalska VERKOI will hand over products to a shipping company for delivery to the client.
Third-Party Engagement: Dominika Sokalska VERKOI can involve third parties in fulfilling its obligations.
Delivery Timing: If products cannot be delivered within 30 days, the client can agree to a new date or cancel the order without costs.
Return Period: Clients have 14 days to return products after delivery, bearing shipping costs.
Notification for Return: Clients must inform Dominika Sokalska VERKOI of their intent to return via email and will receive a Return Authorization number.
Product Condition: Returned items must be sealed, unused, and in original packaging. Products not meeting these criteria cannot be accepted for return.
Payment Methods: Clients must pay using the methods available on the site, which can be changed by Dominika Sokalska VERKOI at any time.
Refund Method: Refunds will be issued via the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
Product Warranty: Dominika Sokalska VERKOI ensures products are suitable for intended use as described.

Submitting Complaints: Clients can submit complaints via email or in writing.
Response Time: Dominika Sokalska VERKOI will respond within 7 days of receiving a complaint.
Consumer Liability: Liability is limited to the price of the purchased product and does not cover indirect damages.
Professional Liability: Dominika Sokalska VERKOI has no liability towards professionals unless caused by gross negligence or intentional acts.
Force Majeure: Dominika Sokalska VERKOI is not liable for damages resulting from events beyond its control (e.g., natural disasters, strikes).
Retention of Ownership: Dominika Sokalska VERKOI retains ownership of products until full payment is received.
Suspension of Obligations: Dominika Sokalska VERKOI can suspend its obligations until full payment is made.
